In celebration of Greece's 200 years of freedom, this jewerly design was awarded in the Panhellenic Jewelry Design Competition at HELEXPO Thessaloniki 2021.
Inspired by the hand-sewed motifs on the traditional fighter costumes seen in 1821, the jewelry design creates a harmonious coexistence with the modern reality by creating a bridge that connects the past with the present.
A fresh look at the imaginative motifs created by the gold embroidery and cords on the garments of the fighters of our national revolution was the inspiration to create a jewel with respect to the folk art and tradition of our country and with an appreciation for the modern and contemporary. In this jewellery, the traditional is captured on the first level of the earring while the modern form impresses on a second level, floating behind the earlobe, introducing innovative craftsmanship and symbolism, as if through tradition we catch a glimpse of today.
This jewelry is handmade in Greece in 925 silver and plated with gold.

All NORIDU jewelry are handmade in 925 silver.
As all silver jewelry, the pieces may tarnish over time.
Our gold plated jewelry (rings, pendants, bracelets, and earrings) are also made from sterling silver 925, the gold plated being between one or two microns.
Our only non-silver jewelry in our product lines are the Volcanoes cuff-bracelet and Volcanoes large ring, which are made out of Bronze.
To ensure the gold plated does not damage, do not expose the jewelry to water, perfumes, alcohol or any other substances. If exposed to any of the above the gold plated jewellery will tarnish and lose their colour.
